Working at Brockwood Park
Working at Brockwood as a residential staff member requires that you have a serious interest in Krishnamurti's teaching and a commitment to working with others in a spirit of inquiry and co-operation. Working at Brockwood Park in any capacity is more than a job opportunity; it is a lifestyle. All staff have other duties apart from their actual job and need to be aware of these demands. Regardless of function, all residential staff members at Brockwood receive the same monthly salary - approximately £530 - plus food and accommodation.
We are currently looking for qualified and experienced people in the following areas:
- Secondary Teachers for:
English, French, Maths, ESL, Business Studies, Geography. However - whatever your subject or combination of subjects you would be able to offer - please contact us.
- Primary Teacher for Inwoods Small School with experience teaching children between the ages of 4 and 11 years who is willing to live and work with a small team of teachers to provide an excellent educational and caring environment for children.
Inwoods has existed for 11 years and is currently at full capacity of 27 children. It is located on two acres of beautiful grounds, surrounded by woods and is a ten minute walk from Brockwood Park School.
- An experienced Vegetarian Chef to cook for 100 people daily with a team of 5 staff. Your duties will include cooking the main meal and supervising the preparation of breakfast and supper; all kitchen orders, staff training, menu planning and general upkeep of the kitchen
- We are looking for an experienced Gardener to help with the upkeep and planning of 37 acres of grounds and a 1 acre walled garden
